Foundations for Dog Sports is a mandatory prerequisite class for all new Extension Dog Sport students. This class is to set you and your dog up with necessary foundation skills required for safety and success in agility, or whatever other dog sport you choose to play. You will learn skills that teach them to be handler focused despite distractions, advanced body awareness, value for reward, dog tricks for agility and more! This is NOT a general obedience/ manners class, but a class to make the game of agility a fun and successful one. Ideally your dog has some basic obedience/ manners training before this. 

If you and your dog have previous agility experience, private lessons/assessments are available to see whether you would need to take the foundations class or potentially be jumped ahead into a beginner agility class.
